Turnstone Estates grows team with appointment of new Associate

Turnstone Estates has appointed Charlie Clark as an Associate, further strengthening its growing development team.

Charlie joins from Carter Jonas, where he spent seven years in the Cambridge Commercial Agency team.

During this time, he worked across a range of property projects throughout the Eastern region, with a particular focus on industrial and warehouse schemes. His work included acquisitions, leasing, sales, investment and development consultancy for clients such as Royal Mail, South Cambridgeshire District Council, Trinity Hall College, and Downing College.

Career highlights include the sale of a 17-acre development site in Chatteris to Tungsten Properties for a 300,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, the acquisition of Wellbrook in Cambridge, and several high-profile industrial land sales in Huntingdon and Peterborough.

At Turnstone Estates, he will be supporting delivery of the company’s Bedford Interchange South scheme – a mixed commercial development close to the proposed Universal Studios site which will deliver 260 new jobs and generate £20m in GVA to Bedford’s economy.

Charlie Clark, Associate, Turnstone Estates, said: “Turnstone has built a strong reputation for high-quality, well-considered development across the region, and I am delighted to be joining such an experienced team. I am particularly looking forward to expanding Turnstone’s footprint in the industrial and mixed-use sectors across the East of England.”

His experience and drive within the industrial and warehousing market is a valuable addition to this growing Cambridge-based business.

Tim Deacon, Managing Director, Turnstone Estates, added: “We are very pleased to welcome Charlie to the team having successfully worked together on projects in the past. He is a pleasure to work with and we know he will provide the expertise and attention to detail that Turnstone Estates is known for, with a focus on identifying new industrial and mixed-use opportunities across the East of England.”

With the delivery of major Turnstone-led projects currently underway, such as 11,000 homes in Waterbeach New Town and the railway station relocation, Charlie’s appointment supports Turnstone’s continued focus on delivering prime development projects across the East of England.
