The Leisure Property Forum held its annual members’ cocktail party at Leicester Square’s Hippodrome Casino. The event was sponsored by Turnstone. Guests were treated to a fascinating presentation from Hippodrome CEO Simon Thomas on the history of this iconic leisure building and its development into the UK’s largest and busiest international-style casino. Afterwards they enjoyed tuition on the ‘learn to play’ craps and roulette tables. A few lucky guests, including LPF chairman Neil Richmond, were later seen stockpiling poker chips on the main gaming floor courtesy of the free £5 chip provided to all guests.
